The requirement was to automate the Contract-to-Billing process, but essential project and billing details, including billing type (fixed fee or Time & Materials – T&M), terms, and resource details, were buried within 20-30 page Statements of Work (SOWs) and Purchase Order (PO) PDFs across hundreds of active projects.
