The Challenge
Due to a surge in digital demand (reaching 4,000 deliveries per month), the lack of synchronization between sales and logistics systems became a structural bottleneck. Optimizing this transition was vital to absorbing current operational volumes.
System Disconnection (OMS/DOM Gap): Orders were processed and invoiced in their Sales & ERP system (Bsale – Order Management System or OMS), but actual delivery execution was managed by the Last-Mile routing and tracking platform, SimpliRoute (Delivery Optimization Management system or DOM).
Manual Status Updates: Whenever a delivery driver changed an order status in the Logistics platform (SimpliRoute), that update had to be manually entered into the Sales system (Bsale). At approximately 3 minutes per order, this administrative effort amounted to over 100 hours of manual work per month.

The core of the solution ensures that online orders are dispatched to the correct fleet based on location, guaranteeing on-time distribution as SimpliRoute calculates the optimal delivery routes. Once delivered, the order in Bsale is automatically updated to “Completed”, providing real-time information to every customer.
